If I deleted the plugin on my server and then reinstalled, would my shopping cart and items be restored?

The site automatically updates but I don’t know the specifics.

I deleted the plugin and installed a different one. The same problem occurred, then I realized it was because the url for the post was different than the url to my site, even though it was the only post I had, and the setting for my site was that the home page would open on the latest post. So, that was the problem.

I decided just to upload a few photos and link them to my product categories instead.

Justin, I usually update plugins from the dashboard. Can you walk me through how I’d install 3.9.2 from my computer? I’ve never had to do this before. Or, will it be available as an update soon?

Thanks for adding further comments, thorshammer. It was reassuring also. (BTW, checked out your site and will spread the word. I’m totally in support of businesses dedicated to caring for our earth;)

My taxes also stopped working, except for some old items in my store. Anything newer though (can’t specify dates) the taxes do not appear at checkout. This plug in used to work wonderfully. I’m not sure if there was something different added to the updated version that would affect how taxes calculate. Anyway, I’ve had to eat tax a few times now. I’ve gone over my product listings with a fine toothed comb, but see no error on my part. Ditto for the tax settings setup page.

I hope this issue can get fixed asap. This has been going on for awhile now.

Hi, I’m having the exact same problem. I have discovered that some items show tax at checkout while others do not. I double checked everything. There is no reason on my end for tax to be missed for some products yet charged on others.

What is going on?
