Ok I know I now have to wait until flickr sort out there email posting to a specific category in a blog but what about my previous question of the sticking default category (1st paragraph).

Thanks for the link, that solution does work but I’m moving away from that plugin becuase I want to integrate with flickr more. It seems reading the flickr forums that email posting to categories IS coming but no ETA as yet.
