joneiseman, your expert support of this plugin is incredible! Are you paid Events Manager staff?
I happened back on this thread and wonder if you’re still stuck. I am no expert, but others have helped me with issues …so I try to pass the consideration for others on.
When I said: “EM Setting group”, I mean the grouping of control choices on the EM Setting pages. If you can send me something more specific, I’ll try to help.
Perhaps this would be helpful:
<a href="https://www.google.com/maps/place/#_LOCATIONADDRESS, #_LOCATIONTOWN, #_LOCATIONSTATE, #_LOCATIONPOSTCODE" target="_new" >Google Mapping</a><br/>
Add the above to: EM>Settings>Formatting>Locations>Single Location Page Format
You’ll also need to set up: EM>Settings>General>Google Maps integration.

In reply to: [bbp style pack] Spectator users should NOT get an email to subscribed topicsWe updated in our staging site and all worked great! Thanks for this really great free WordPress plugin! @codejp3, your support was super awesome! (Mentioned in WP and X/Twitter.)
For your first item, you could try something like this:
[events_list category=”55″ scope=”future” limit=”1″]<h5>#_EVENTDATES? #_EVENTTIMES??? <b>#_EVENTLINK</b></h5>
[/events_list]
I really appreciate the plugin: “WP Rollback”! I’ve used it safely for many years, to choose a previous plugin version when anything goes wrong. It seems to work with any plugin that’s in the WP Plugin Directory.
The color of the Parent Event Category overrides it’s Child Event Categories. For instance, our sporting club has “PADDLING” (category color blue) events. Some are “Whitewater” and some are “Touring”. I would like to have these sub/child categories be different colors from the parent. Is there a way to do this? The website is: https://wilmingtontrailclub.org.
I’m not sure if this means that you are resolved or not? If not and there are specific EM setting groups that you’d like screen printed and you list them, I’ll try to post that back. Can files be attached back through this forum? If not, you’ll need to indicate your email address.
francoc30, I’m checking back after being super busy. If you still need some info, let me know what. ~April
@joneiseman, you’re very kind to spend time helping others.
Hi @tnchuntic. I’ve been using the Wordfence Security plugin for almost about 8 years. The basic free version firewall is great. But you have to upgrade to premium to get real-time rules and the great country blocking feature. See https://www.wordfence.com/products/. The only downside of country blocking is that if you have others, like support folks who you want to access your site …you have to permit their IPAddress (or their whole country if they don’t share IPs).
tgiokdi, thank you very much so much for posting this …as I received one yesterday too.
If I understand your question, check out the Events Manager options under: Events>User Capabilities. Then you’ll probably need to adjust your Users’ WP Roles accordingly. Hope this helps. ~April
You can use the “WPRollback” plugin. I’ve used it many times and it worked perfectly.
