KramBie, thank you so much for your efforts to help me!!! The login URL indicated won’t work for me on 3 different devices nor 3 different browsers. When I tried the pre-sale contact form, the result was: “Recaptcha validation failed.” I never saw any recaptcha screens, so perhaps this does mean that I’ve been blocked for trying to log in so many times …as you guessed. And thank you for sending the link to my issue!!! Hopefully this will work. I will search for a possible 2018 email address (I never thought of this). Your kindness is very greatly appreciated.
Jakob,
You could try something like this:
[events_list category=”55″ scope=”future” limit=”2″]
(Of course, you need to substitute your event category ID number. My example is event category ID = “55”)
If you haven’t tried this yet:
- Back up your website.
- Go to: WP Dashboard>Events>Settings>General>Admin Tools>Database Cleanup>Remove Orphaned Events.
ASAP be sure that: WordPress Dashboard>Settings>General Settings>New User Default Role …is set to “Subscriber” or at least anything but “Admin”.
Then also take a look at: WordPress Dashboard>Events>Settings>General>User Capabilities …for Events Manager specific fine tuning.
Would it be helpful to change this setting: WP Dashboard > Events > Settings > General > General Options > Location Settings > Require locations for events? > No
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!] Event footer?I use the page builder: WPBakery Page Builder to do this and much much more..

joneiseman, thank you very much for your continued extensive efforts to help everyone …as a volunteer!!!
Are you asking about setting the color of the calendar or the color of events by category (in the calendar)?
Using something like the below on your page, will limit the display to only the next 2 occurrences. Substitute your own category number:
[events_list category=”55″ scope=”future” limit=”2″]
#_EVENTDATES? #_EVENTTIMES??? #_EVENTLINK

[/events_list]
I don’t know the answer to your question. But if you’re using EMPro, you need to have a compatible version to the rolled back EM …or else it will crash.
This may not be your issue, but I think I remember seeing a similar (irrelevant) error message when I went to save an event …without completing all of the required fields.
Is there a way to display color per CHILD category? The PARENT category color always overrides with its color.
Yes Barry,I think that you may be confusing: “Full Calendar” with Events Managers’ “WP FullCalendar“.
