In reply to: Admin bar not showing despite common fixesoh, to add….
There is no blank space where the admin bar should be. There’s simply no admin bar while viewing the site at all. It looks as if it has simply turned off, but it is not.

In reply to: Upgraded to 3.2 Visual editor buttons missingThank you so much for the investigations and suggestions everyone.
I actually decided to step back to the previous version, stop poking at it (man did that take restraint) and let Godaddy catch up.Tonight I logged into godaddy and saw that they’re supporting 3.2, so I went for it. 4 blogs upgraded without a single problem.
*shrug* I guess it was something on their end. I hope everyone else has found a solutions by now, but if you’re a godaddy user I think you should be OK to upgrade.

In reply to: Upgraded to 3.2 Visual editor buttons missingtimchorlton, thank you, that does help me a lot, actually. I won’t waste my time tonight with the manual re-install =)
Yep, I am definitely blaming it on Godaddy at this point. I have now upgraded a different site on Host Gator with no problem.

In reply to: Upgraded to 3.2 Visual editor buttons missingNot a silly question, but yes I did clear everything and tried 4 different browsers.
I think I’m just going to do a manual re-install today and if that doesn’t work, I’ll wipe it out and re-install 3.1.whatever via my host until things are cleared up. Thankfully, this blog isn’t developed enough that it’s a big deal.

In reply to: Upgraded to 3.2 Visual editor buttons missingtimchorlton, that’s exactly how mine looked before replacing the config file with one from a fresh 3.2 download.
Not that it has 100% solved my problem.

In reply to: Upgraded to 3.2 Visual editor buttons missingWell for anyone else interested, this may be a godaddy issue (I know, I know). Thy’re not yet supporting 3.2, apparently, and when I called they told me that they don’t know when they will be because it’s still in beta, I had to inform them otherwise.

In reply to: Upgraded to 3.2 Visual editor buttons missingWell, small update, but still not fixed.
I downloaded a full copy of WordPress 3.2 and compare the wp-config.php file on the live site and the fresh copy of WordPress. Completely, totally different.
So, I manually updated the fresh copy with my db info, etc and uploaded it to the live site.
NOW, I at least have a tool bar on the visual tab and the TINYMCE buttons show up fine. However, the default visual tab toolbar buttons are there but completely blank.
So, LOL… yeah I guess part of my problem is solved. Might just wipe out my live site and do a complete manual re install with the fresh WP download. *scratches head* Just what I needed tonight.
