First, thanks for adding categories!!!
The widget seems to have a bug when selecting a category, it doesn’t appear to respect the selection. But adding a text widget with shortcode seems to be a workaround.
Any chance you will add ability to display more than one category via checkbox or CTRL click? Or all excluding selected categories?
You are doing a great job on this, donation incoming as promised.

In the sidebar, go to “Tools” ? “Export”, Then, Choose what to export = “WP Customer Reviews”.

Better to hide the text using CSS such as:

label.screen-reader-text {
display: none;
}

or like esmi’s code. Otherwise you risk needing to edit the php file again whenever you update WP.
