In reply to: [NextGEN Scroll Gallery] ResponsiveOK, I did that and installed 2.0.2. The galleries are all there but it didn’t resize them down when I made the screen smaller. I’m using a Responsive Child Theme from ThemeID. The pictures are there and they scroll fine but they didn’t become responsive. I suppose mine is one of the themes where the CSS is not compatible.

In reply to: [NextGEN Scroll Gallery] ResponsiveI already have a lot of photo galleries on my site that I don’t want to lose. I just tried to upload 2.0.2 in zip format and it failed because it said that it already exists. Do I have to delete 1.8.1 first and would that mess up my present galleries?
Well, I deleted the two folders that had incorrectly uploaded to www and I deleted NextGen again, emptied the cache and rebooted. Then I enptied the cache again and rebooted again. then I reloaded the plugin using my Mac and it is now fine and working correctly.
Great!!!!
Great!!! I’m glad it worked for you too.
ActuaLly, deactivate the plugins first, then empty the cache, then reinstall WordPress 3.5 and reboot. Go all the way out and then back in. And then just because I don’t trust anything I emptied the cache again and rebooted again and then went back in and activated everything

In reply to: [WOW Slider] I have version 2.7 sliders are not loading/Wrong sliderAnd, I just opened Filezilla, found
wp-content/plugins/wowslider/import
and I manually dragged in 7 sliders that I had created with the other other version before WordPress 3.5 (that were working)to the import folder.
Then I went to ?mport Files and it gave me a message:
Files to import not found
The whole Wowslider folder has been changed to “777”

In reply to: [WOW Slider] I have version 2.7 sliders are not loading/Wrong sliderAlso, in the wp-content/uploads/
directory there is no Wowslider folder.
I’ve got:
2012
2013
EasyRotator
fsrep
listings
ultimate-tinyMCE
vertical
wppaSo from what little I know, the only plugins there are one that I’m not using, EasyRotator, and ultimate-tinyMCE.
Should there be a wowslider folder there? I had deleted the previous version and reinstalled 2.7.1

In reply to: [WOW Slider] I have version 2.7 sliders are not loading/Wrong sliderOK, I think I found it. I located two of those files:
wp-content/plugins/wowslider/import/
wp-content/uploadsRight clicked, scrolled down and I found “File permissions”so I changed them to 777. But now I tried to upload a Wow slider that I created previously and I still got “Wrong slider”

In reply to: Adding a Blog to my WebsiteI’m trying that now. thanks
I actually got it fixed here for me. I don’t know if this is right but what I did was, reinstall WordPress 3.5 and then I went to the site and deactivated ALL the plugins and then emptied the cache in the browser. Then I rebooted, Then I went back to the browser and emptied the cache again (just in case) and then I rebooted AGAIN. Then I went back to the site and activated all the plugins and to my shock it worked.
It didn’t help me much because I don’t know how to apply that change
