Thanks for your response. That option is set to Yes. I did notice that when an admin is logegd in and Publishes or Updates a post it gets sent to Apple News automatically. However all our writers have only Editor privilieges. Does the user role have anything to do with the auto-publish?

Thanks for the answer. I downloaded and activated the Smart Countdown FX plugin. Now when I check the front-end – the short code no longer displays but the counter doesn’t show up. It’s a blank space. When I do a View Source on the page, this is what I see

Thank you for getting the fix in place. Works like a charm now.

So I did some more digging and figured out that the only posts that are getting the strange bylines are the ones that have the author value set to #teamebony. So, I think the hashtag(#) in front of the author name is throwing something off. What do you think? Any ideas how to get around that?

Thanks for the quick response. When I do the reverse, eg – Show Ad Wodget with an exception of a specific category – it still does not work. It still shows up on the category page that I excluded.

Thanks for your response – I actually fixed it – it was picking up the li style from the theme and was referencing a gray bullet image.
