yes, I have also tested it with PayPal Standard in WooCommerce core, the behaviour is the same.

And that the fields are empty when the customer goes back, we have recognized since a long time (WC 3.x or maybe also 2.x), at least in combination with Angelleye’s PayPal Plus. But for the support request a got the answer, that this is a WooCommerce thing that can’t be handeled via PayPal Plus.

Therefore GDPR souldn’t be relevant for this.
These are the actual settings:

I had already deactivated all Plugins except WooCommerce on the development site and went to Theme “Twenty Fifteen”, but the result was the same.

is it possible to show only the variations without price and still hide the deactivated variations?

Because sometimes we want to deactivate some variations only temporarily without deleting them.

It is important for us to show variations without price. Because they are used for a dropdown with some shipping countries. After selecting on of the “critical” countries (variation without price = deactivated Add-to-Cart-Button), the customer is informed that shipping has to be calculated individually and he should get in contact with us via contact form.

Well okay, there are sometimes technical issues, that I don’t (have to?) understand.

Today it worked fine even after updating on the live system, only on the local test system the bug was still alive (right before writing the first posting).

So it would be interesting, if it will also wirk fine, after installing a backup of the live system locally. I’ll see.

Right now I will check this issue as “resolved” ??

Because the warning text about the red actions only warns about errors when the server shuts down the same time.

Is this bug fixed between 2.2.0 and 2.2.2? In the changelog I couldn’t find anything that explains this.

I re-imported the old database (from a Backup before cleaning up orphaned post meta data) at the second installation. Then I updated WP-Optimize to version 2.2.2 and made a new cleaning up for orphaned post meta data. Now it worked fine?!

I hope that this will also work fine at the live system.

Yes, that’s right, with “pre_get_posts” it doesn’t find anything, even searching for text (WooCommerce 3.2.6 is installed).

I still have to set $product_categories = array(); as mentioned above, but with SKU Hook set to “posts_search” the search works.

I have to correct myself:

When “Search by SKU” in the Booster is enabled, the search function always says, that nothing is found, even when searching for text.

When disabling this function in the Booster and the separate “Search for SKU” Plugin, searching for text works fine.

after changing the code I could save this setting. After re-entering this page the checkbox is still activated.

But my delight lasted only for short, because it didn’t find anything. I searched for SKUs from variations and simple products.
The Search by SKU for Woocommerce Plugin still works fine, but only if your “Search by SKU” function is disabled. When testing your function, I deactivated the other plugin first, of course.

I even deactivated all plugins except Woocommerce and Booster and changed the theme to Twenty Fifteen, but it still founds nothing.

i changed the memory limit in wp-config.php from 128M to 512M with the two lines you mentioned.
I also changed it from 128M to 512M in php.ini from MAMP (and restarted the MAMP server), but nothing changed:

max_execution_time = 30     ; Maximum execution time of each script, in seconds
max_input_time = 60	; Maximum amount of time each script may spend parsing request data
memory_limit = 512M      ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (8MB)

I don’t wanna use the Autogenerate SKU feature, but it doesn’t matter if I leave this checkbox checked (or uncheck only this in the first step), the error occurs every time I click the Save button.

Edit: Even when adding one or two “0” to the two time values, the error occurs after ca. 3 seconds.

But no matter if I only add line 1, line 2 or both of them: I only get the attribute lines under the product title, but the attributes are still shown behind the title a second time.

no, thanks. For regular products the user has to see the price. Only for prescription products the price has to be hidden.
