Hi there,
We had someone else in the past who successfully integrated Pie Calendar with Directorist and I don’t believe they ran into any issues.
I’m not familiar with the Venues aspect to Directorist. If it’s a taxonomy of the post type that Directorist creates, you can use that to filter events on your Pie Calendar using taxonomy filters in the Pro version: https://docs.piecalendar.com/article/22-shortcode-options-pro-only
Have you tried this and ran into any issues? If so, I’d be glad to try to assist.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Events Calendar Made Simple – Pie Calendar] Can we remove links to days? That will work! You can also check into creating a custom view with FullCalendar.js, since that’s what Pie Calendar uses under the hood.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Events Calendar Made Simple – Pie Calendar] Can we remove links to days?Hi there,
There is no built in way to remove days from the primary calendar view. However, you could consider using one of the list views that will only show days if there is an event on that day.
For example, [piecal view=”listMonth”] might be a good option for you.
Hope this helps!

In reply to: [Events Calendar Made Simple – Pie Calendar] problem with selecting listDayHi there,
I will check into why this is, but you can also use the shortcode attribute [piecal widget=”true”] to force the day view. Or, you can use [piecal widget=”responsive”] to show the day view once the screensize goes below 768px.
Thanks for bringing this issue to my attention!

In reply to: [Events Calendar Made Simple – Pie Calendar] End day not showingAhh, this is even more strange. I clicked your link and the event is showing between 2024-04-17 and 2024-04-19 in the calendar as it’s supposed to on my side. Did you make any changes since your previous post?
Here is what I see on my end:
Also, you mentioned:
>>added a new post type and set the post type to “post is event”This isn’t a required step, so perhaps uncheck that option on the post type itself. You only have to set “Post is Event” on the individual posts like “Resa 1” or “Resa 2” in your example above.

In reply to: [Events Calendar Made Simple – Pie Calendar] End day not showingOk, this is helpful info for me to try to troubleshoot. To make sure I am testing the right things, are you using ACF fields for your event Start Date & Time?

In reply to: [Events Calendar Made Simple – Pie Calendar] End day not showingI apologize as I’m having a hard time finding the problem here. So far, I’m unable to reproduce this issue on my end using WordPress 6.5.2 and Pie Calendar v1.2.0.
I created an event post, set it to start on April 15th and end on April 20th, and I set it to All Day. This is what I see on my end:
Can you try this out on a different WordPress installation? I’d like to isolate whether the issue is related to this specific website you shared or if its something more specific.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Events Calendar Made Simple – Pie Calendar] End day not showingHi there, this issue can sometimes happen when the end time is set to something like 3:00am, despite the fact that you’re using an all-day event.
On the New Oslo post, can you try setting the end time to something like 5:00pm on April 20th? That should do the trick.
I will log this on my end to try to reproduce and fix on our side.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Events Calendar Made Simple – Pie Calendar] Couple of issuesHi Dave,
The errors you’re seeing indicate the start date isn’t saved properly. This corresponds with the second issue you mentioned, as well. If [0] is undefined it means the post meta doesn’t exist or failed to fetch. It looks like there’s a conflict somewhere else in the site that is preventing the post meta from saving or being updated.
As annoying as it is, the way to figure this out is to perform a plugin conflict test – disable all plugins and then activate them one by one, each time checking to see if Pie Calendar operates as you expect it to.
My hunch is that there is a plugin that’s getting in the way which sometimes is other calendar plugins, or custom code snippets that modify date formats.
We also do all of our development on PHP 8.2, so I don’t think it’s specific to the PHP version itself.
Please perform the plugin conflict test and then let me know. We’ll go from there based on what you find.
Thanks!
