Oh, I see… That test case slipped by haha. I would like to implement a fix for it but just do not have the time currently. The only work around I can come up with it is switching my post links to open in new tabs.

I’ll add it to my to-do list but to not have a timeline for it unfortunately.

It will! The only gotcha is if the query loop inherits from the page/post, there will be only 1 result because that is the intended output of a query loop on a single page/post.

Oh man… Sticky post support is riddled with bugs. I must not have tested the plugin with them.

I never heard back from anyone but I did find a work around. I removed my block from the block repository with the validator tool and then resubmitted it and that appears to have fixed the issue

Thoroughly tested the inherited settings and everything is working as intended; chalking it up to user error

It uses the configuration of the “Query Loop” and should respect the inherit from the template and filter settings. If it is pulling posts that conflict with the query blocks settings, that is certainly not the intended behavior. Can you share some screenshots of your query loops block settings as well as which template you are using?

The Infinite Scroll block can only be placed inside of a Query Loop block unfortunately. It’s under the “Theme” section and you will only see it listed if you are adding a block as a child to the Query Loop block. Under the hood it is just a glorified pagination block that loads content instead of displaying the “Next” and “Previous” arrows.
