  • All is good. Thank you! I restored the last working server backup and updated openssl. Now everything aeems to be working as it is supposed to.

We updated our certificates (wildcard) and are facing the same error now. It is interesting, that the log shows OpenSSL 1.1.1d – we are using 1.1.1n.
    (OpenSSL 1.1.1n 15 Mar 2022 (Library: OpenSSL 1.1.1d 10 Sep 2019))

    Can you help?

    Tatatatataaa!!! Wonderful!

I bought the expansion plugin again and downloaded version 1.5.6.

Replaced my current version 1.5.3 with the newer one and bam: IT WORKS AGAIN!

Thank you very much for your help.

    I will try that.

I just bought the expansion plugin again and was able to download it. So no worry about updating the download.

    Thank you very much again!

I can try that. I have 3 questions:

    1. Can I just delete the participants database plugin without loosing my participants and settings?

    2. Where can I download the latest Image Extension Plugin. The link in my order #6592 has expired.

    3. Can I contribute/pay something for your help? If yes, how?

    Thank you and kind regards

I copied back Version 1.5.3 of the Image Extension Plugin. The errors above are gone, but I still cannot edit or add participants, wehen the plugin is activated.

I deleted the plugin and copied the one I donwnloaded from when I bought it into the plugins folder. I now get a new error, when trying to activate the image expansion plugin…

Warning: require_once(/bitnami/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/participants-database//vendor/wp-background-process/wp-async-request.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /bitnami/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/pdb-image-expansion/pdbiex/Plugin.php on line 35

When the expansion is turned on I cannot add a new participants. When saving it, I get the error “There was a critical error on your website” (find out more about problem solving in wordpress). The same thing happens, when I delete a participants image. Disabling the expansion plugin lets me add and edit new participants…

I was able to reproduce the problem:

When the “Participants Database Image Expansion” plugin is activated, it shows the images of each participants. But the participants cannot be edited. Uploading or deleting images throws an error.

When I deactivate the “Participants Database Image Expansion” plugin, there are no images shown. But I can edit the participants adding pictures. They then also show up on the list, but are larger than they should.

Therefore I guess my problem is related to the “Participants Database Image Expansion” plugin.

Thank you very much for your help. I still have a problem. I tried:

    1. Setting the “upload location” to “uploads/participants-database/” and checking the “Use WP Content Path” in the advanced settings:
    The result:
Images are now linked wrong (wp-content is missing):
    https://www.corvetterallye.ch/uploads/sites/7/participants-database/ (wrong)

    2. Setting the “upload location to “wp-content/uploads/participants-database/” and UNchecking the “Use WP Content Path” in the advanced setting:
    The result:
Images are now linked correct (including wp-content):
    https://www.corvetterallye.ch/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/participants-database/

    But…

When I try to delete or replace an image it gives me an error. I can’t even add new members. The page throws an error every time. I guess, this is due to some folder access rights.

Thank you for your very appreciated help!

Thank you. This did not help. I will open a new thread.

I have trouble uploading files (images) for participants. It used to work. I tried to adjust the directory rights, etc. but keep getting this error:

The configured uploads directory “/opt/bitnami/wordpress/wp-content/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/participants-database/” for Participants Database is not writable. This means that plugins file uploads will fail, check the Participants Database “File Upload Location” setting for the correct path.

    There is one strange thing:
The configured directory for uploads is:
    /wp-content/uploads/participants-database/
The link the images are uploaded is:
    /wp-content/uploads/sites/7/participants-database/ (bitnami multisite)
The path in the error message is:
    /opt/bitnami/wordpress/wp-content/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/participants-database/
= the path in the error message containes “wp-content” twice.

Can anyone help me fix this?
