Thanks …already tried that. Does the same thing. Maybe it’s because I have child_of set to a specific sub-page as well (the Gallery page/22)

The various direct sub-pages to nr. 22, “Greenland 2009”, “Greenland 2010” etc. I would like shown, but not their sub-pages – unless you are on one of them of course – then just that page siblings should be shown, so that visitor can browse the different galleries under “Greenland 2009” for instance.

That’s actually exactly what I am doing. Allthough instead of inserting the gallery with the “Insert Gallery” button I have put the Gallery Shortcode into my template. This way my client can’t do it wrong and I have better control of the layout.

Sorry – I just realized that I should say I am using Flexible Lightbox

to show the images on screen when a gallery thumbnail is clicked. It’s the lightbox effect that comes up in the original filesize.

I tried another similar function from another user today. The exact same thing happens.

I also did an entirely new blog installation at another domain – same thing. It must be a 2.8.x issue!

Oh, i suppose on a personal installation your are just supposed to write the embed code myself.

I just found out that my .htaccess file had gone empty somehow. I uploaded a new one and now everything is back to normal.

I don’t see why this happened.
