I have.

Finding the basic information is like finding needle in a haystack, though higher level information is available, it’s little use without the basic question of how to update PHP.

I.e.

Is it updated along with the update of Desktop Server
Does it need to be updated separately
Does the update involve deleting the software, then installing new vertion
Does an update “amend” to a later verion

This basic info, does not seem to be readily available/forthcoming from anywhere (so far)

…That is, I’m no wiser on how to update PHP…
