Hi @codeinwp,
I will. But let me ask this first:
Thanks for your comment. Once I delete the plugin, my site will stop working correctly. So much is clear. Once I install it again, will my site be back to normal, without me having to re-configure stuff etc? (FYI: The funny thing is, that despite the login-problem, the site still works)
Hmmm, I shouldn’t have made the title of this post about login-fail. Sorry.
Hi Eric,
Thanks again. I am happy to report that for now, all seems to be OK. Things sorted themselves out without me intervening.
Nevertheless, I might install the WP Croncontrol plugin to be able to monitor the cron.
Again, thanks. Should I encounter problems again and not be able to resolve them I’ll get back ??
Bye!
Hi Eric,
Thx for your reply.
1. No, the feed source does not import. So that’s not gooed.
2. Still, I don’t understand what it means “Next update: None”? Clearly, it coincides with the FS not importing, but I don’t see what triggers the behavior. And how to undo it.
3. To make things worse, it seems that the behavior comes and goes at random. So, properly functioning and importing FSes suddenly show this behavior. And vice versa. In brief, it makes the whole thing rather unreliable and not “care free”. I have to keep checking what’s going on.
Any further suggestions?
Eric,
I am stunned!! This worked like a charm. Really!
FYI: I copied the ID from a page which calls the feed by shortcode and thus implicitely needs to have the ID. Inserted in your URL, updated the feed source and presto!
Thanks a lot, you’re a champ! Bye for now.
