I wanted to let you know that we’ve implemented the necessary changes in version 5.7.38. You can now add custom CSS using the?ig_es_unsubscribe_form_after_start?WP action, as mentioned earlier.

For styling the unsubscribe page, use the?#ig_es_unsubscribe_form_wrapper?CSS selector in your custom CSS.

Yes, our plugin includes features that allow subscribers to submit their details through forms on your website. Once a subscriber successfully submits their information, that subscriber is automatically added to the audience page, where you can view details such as their name and email address.

Additionally, once you have the subscriber details from the audience page, you can easily send newsletters to those who subscribed through your website. For further guidance on this process, please consult the?documentation.

Q1) is it possible to use the REST API function to add the email to a list?

Ans) Yes, it is possible to add email to a list via REST API. More info?here

Q2) the posts will be in 3 different languages, upon registering, users will be in 3 different lists and posts will have a category with the language so can this plugin send an email with the WHOLE body of the post (it being for registered users only) to the list, that corresponds to the language ONLY?

Ans) If languages are nothing but post categories only then above is possible.

Q3) is there a way to bypass a user subscribing to the list by clicking a link?

Ans) If user are being added through REST API, then their status can be directly set to subscribed so that they won’t need to click a link. If they are getting added through the Express subscription form, then the admin will need to set optin setting to Single-Optin.

Currently, it is not possible to use the same hook to style all pages. However, you can use the es_message_head PHP hook for styling the double opt-in confirmation form and the subscription success form.

After debugging, I wanted to inform you that we conducted a compatibility check with WP 6.2.2 and found no issues. We recommend updating your WordPress dashboard and trying again.

In response to your concern, my answer is below.

1) workable would be a hook that I could implement to include my own CSS file when these “pages” are rendered.

==> Could you please add these hook ig_es_unsubscribe_form_after_start in custom HTML/ CSS

2) it would also be ideal to have id attributes on any of the IG-created elements, so they can be styled by my CSS.

==> Currently there isn’t any id attributes to IG elements, but we will add it in upcoming release.
