In reply to: [WP Recipe Maker] Failed to initialize plugin:recipeJust so you know, I also get the same message, I use WP Zoom (Foodica Theme) and EasyRecipe Plus. So it’s unrelated to Brecht’s plugin. Everything seems to work fine, with no issues replying to comments.

In reply to: [Titan Anti-spam & Security] Identifies spam when comments are legitHi, thanks for responding so quickly. I have Jetpack basic, not the Akismet anti-spam paid module, so I thought I needed comment spam protection as a separate plugin. Is that not the case? Please advise.
Thanks again for your time.
P.S. 523 spam comments blocked by your plug-in, suggests it’s working.- This reply was modified 5 years, 12 months ago by antya63.
I’m afraid all these shenanigans tipped me over the edge and I’ve deleted the plugin. Gone to Sendinblue and it works like a dream, with many features, easy dashboard, no annoying screen messages and lots of stats. Wish I’d done it sooner.
My hourly limit is 400. I set the plugin limit as 350 to be on the safe side. Just tested sending a new post notification to a test group/list of only 2 email addresses – both mine, both valid.
Report shows completed, yet neither of those emails have been received.@vancleave8888
My 4100+ emails took 20 hours. And all bounced back as failed delivery – including one to myself (unquestionably a valid address in use daily).I’m giving up and off to explore other (paid) email services as this one has become a huge let-down. Too clunky, too many issues, not intuitive, silly (and mis-spelled) menus, unreliable.
Post Notification e-mails eventually sent according to report (CRON takes forever), but all bounced back as 505 error – potential spam, including the one to MY OWN email address (before you say that email addresses were probably invalid).
Same for me.
The ‘/ issue comes up in other areas too, for example in a form, if you have “there’s” it shows “there’/s”.
Also, all my emails, after eventually having been sent, bounced back due to identification as “505 potential spam”.- This reply was modified 6 years ago by antya63.
Version updated. I have double opt-in selected and the contacts list is still not showing if confirmed or unconfirmed. Nor is there an option to re-send confirmation email.
So, after adding a new post notification template I re-published my post and an email report is now showing in Reports. It is still sending, 20 hours later…
In addition, I now have 1700+ email rejections in my inbox, showing undelivery by remote server due to potential spam (error 505) as well as “exceeded max defers and failure”. My host allows 400 emails per hour and I set the emails send per hour in the plugin to 350.
Further, I can see the email formatting is totally off kilt: No image displayed and links are disabled – including unsubscribe link.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions] What a great plugin!Hahaha! You sound just like me. Proud owner of zero technical skills. I make the magic happen in the kitchen, not on a machine! I assure you that I have plenty of “WTF do I do now” moments, with pretty much every plugin. My golden rule with plugin settings is always: ‘if you don’t know what it means, leave it alone’.
This one was quite straight forward. I still don’t see ANY post revisions (expected to see 1 as per what I set it to do), except for those posts created after optimisation, obviously. But other than that, I haven’t detected anything negative. I’d say go for it (but take a back up first – just in case)!Thank you, Anton.
Hi,
my images (some of the early uploaded ones are very large as I didn’t realise that size matters) are using excess bandwidth and my host has suggested using your plugin, but it’s not been tested with my current (5.0.1) version of WordPress. Can I still go ahead? And is there a way to revert changes if something goes horribly wrong? Any advice would be appreciated, as I have zero technical knowledge. Thank you.Thank you, will do.
@concisemedia and @haagamble, I’m getting flooded now…Captcha is only available in their Premium plugin. Starting to wonder if the team is intentionally making this happen to get us ‘free’ users to go Premium out of sheer desperation. Even my new post notifications have stopped – for no apparent reason, and support has not helped. Is this a marketing strategy? Notice that the plug-in developers are not responding or taking any action, either!
