I was not editing a child theme, so I had to go through that process from the beginning. Here’s where I am stuck right now: I created the child theme, the style.css file and edited it with the following text:

Author: Kaizari
Template: big-pix

@import url(‘../big-pix/style.css’);
The theme comes up on WordPress “Appearance/Themes”, however it shows a blank thumbnail image, and when I click “Live Preview”, the site looks completely different as if the theme is not loading completely (only the ” Our Location” part of the website shows and in a completely different format). What am I doing wrong?
(still need to go back to how to remove “posted by”, “author name” and “category” text later!)
