Thank you, Aaron! I’ve never edited a plugin, but perhaps I’d be able to do what you say in functions.php. Much obliged!

I mentioned a couple things in the updated review I wrote.
I just have the impression that the plugin, useful as it is, hasn’t been tested carefully or its functionality double checked, and I save five stars for that. I’d recommend it to anyone, but also suggest they test it to make sure it’s behaving as they expect.

The title and description you give are the ones I have for antonjazz.com (the home page) but not the correct ones I want for antonjazz.com/blog.

Have a look at the information I have entered for antonjazz.com/blog in the NGFB section of the WP control panel for the blog page:

I have specified a title, description and featured image that I want, none of which are reflected in the og meta tags that are output for antonjazz.com/blog. How can I address that?

You’re absolutely right, Michael. The web site is indeed using AIOSEO but I hadn’t realized it’s using NGFB for social instead! Please accept my humble apologies. Thank you for your help.

Thank you, Tony. But in fact my concern is not with Google at all. It’s with the opengraph metadata. I want that to be correct because it’s important to me that people be able to share antonjazz.com/blog on facebook, and currently when they do the title and description and image facebook shows are all wrong. Unfortunately, how you indicated is exactly how I set things up (Blog page set to /blog, “use static page” not checked, /blog metadata entered in the AIOSEO panel of the Blog page) – but AIOSEO uses the site’s default Home Page setting (All in One SEO > General Settings) rather than what I’ve specified for the blog page.

I know google isn’t the problem because I’m looking directly at the html generated by antonjazz.com/blog and it has the open graph metadata for the Home Page.

I do not have this problem with any other page on my site – only the blog page.

Any ideas? I do not have caching enabled.

I too was just trying to use quotes in a tweet, and I too discovered that I could use " etc., but that it counted that as 6 characters rather than the 1 character it generates.
I’d love to see an update for this sometime! ??
