I just installed this plugin and now my site isn’t accessible at all. I just get a blank page if I try to go to the site or the admin page.

EUREKA! It wasn’t in the database because the email post was still in the inbox! Apparently, I was getting the error whenever the cron job tried to post the message again. I still don’t know the cause of the error but I really don’t care. I’ve deleted the message from the inbox, which should totally solve my problem. Perhaps I’d have figured this out sooner if I’d been paying attention to those annoying wp-mail notifications.

Didn’t see it in the database. But at least I know where all the post are now. Anybody have additional advice?

Yes, I installed Userextra but I wanted everything on one page. I want users to fill in their profile information when they register. I couldn’t seem to make it happen with Userextra.

Followed these instructions and it worked. My knowledge is minimal so I had to figure out that I needed to also add the field using phpMyAdmin. But I did it! This was actually quicker than the time I spent looking for a plugin. Thanks.

Any answers out there yet? I’d also like to have the user populate profile information upon registration. How would I do that?
