I unzipped the big theme folder, found the theme folder within in, and then zipped that (since WordPress doesn’t seem to let you upload unzipped file). That’s when I got the error message.

I just tried to upload a themeforrest theme as a zip file and I am having a different kind of issue. I get this message:

The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

The file is only 3.14 mb.
