Hi @cookieyesteam,
sorry I probably was not clear:
1) I have installed the plugin;
2) The plugin and my site are connected to your web app;I need to know if by following this tutorial:
https://www.cookieyes.com/documentation/implementing-google-consent-mode-using-cookieyes/
I can get the actual number of visitors in analytics even if they don’t accept cookies.
Many thanks in advance and sorry for troubling you.
(I don’t think to be the only one to have this problem, why don’t you implement a specific option in the plugin / web app settings?)Best regards,
A.
Hi @cookieyesteam,
Thanks for the suggestion. I have already connected the plugin to my site.
About implementing Google Consent Mode, I have found this tutorial (made bu CookieYes):https://www.cookieyes.com/documentation/implementing-google-consent-mode-using-cookieyes/
Is it updated? If it is, and I choose the implementation method using Google Tag Manager template, once I have completed the procedure, can I expect to get the real number of visitors in Google Analytics? (even if the users don’t give their consent)
Thanks a lot for your support.

Hello,
many thanks for the reply.
I have just activated CookieYes, please let me know if there is a workaround to know the number of visitors … even if they deny cookies (it seems there is A LOT of them).
Thanks.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Same keyphrase for different languagesHello Michael,
I’m using Polylang.
As I told you, the keywords / phrases is almost always use are names (such as, for example, “pizza”), and there are not always translations for it. Yes I could add other words, but again it’s not always possible.
Anyway, from your words, it seems to me that even if I get a warning from Yoast plugin, it’s not so important, since the keyword / phrase is used in the same article, but with different language. Right?
Again, many thanks.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Meta Description IssuesHello Michael,
in the article you just linked, your collegue says:
“But sometimes Google has a mind of its own. In some cases, it may decide to show a search result snippet that does not match what you’ve written.”
Well, in my case, 90% of the meta descriptions that come come out with different searches criteria (I often use page keyword + websitename) is completely different from the meta description I inserted using yoast.
I frequently get descriptions that don’t describe, even vaguely, the actual content of the page. Sometimes I get the “alt” value of the page, or the content of a banner (!).
So, I have tried to insert new meta descriptions in google reindexing them with the search console tool. After this, a few articles finally have the right descriptions, meanwhile many other pages (90% of my site), don’t appear in google search results anymore.
The latter in not your problem, clearly, but the fact that great part of the meta descriptions are different from those I insert in Yoast, could be.
Any advise is precious, thanks a lot in advance.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Meta Description IssuesHello Suwash,
my site is hosted by NameHero.
I’m not seeing any errors reported in Search Console:
‘Coverage’ 0 Errors 0 Valid with Warnings 147 Valid 236 Excluded
‘Manual actions’ No issues detected
‘Security Issues’ No issues detectedThe main problem is that all my pages are still not ranked by google, meaning that they don’t appear at all in the search results anymore. This problem started just after 2/3 days spent re-indexing the pages to get the correct meta descriptions (also this problem is still there).
For example, a couple of my ex top ranking pages are completely disappeared:
If i google “argentine asado webfoodculture” or “docg wines webfoodculture”, I don’t get the link to the pages at all!My site and its users trend are basically crippled, without any apparent cause.
I’m sending you some reports.

In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] Easy Fancybox conflict with old Pro extensionHi again Ravanah,
I have solved the problem, it was caused by the ‘Speed Booster Pack’ plugin, when enabling the ‘Defer parsing of JS files’ in ‘Javascript optimization’ section.
Hope this can help someone else with the same problem.
Keep the good work going!
Have a nice day.
