Seems like giving a lower star, gets you more help.
I am also having the same problem with the feature image in 4.01 version (as writing in my review). The feature u are describing doesn’t work. I tried this yesterday before writing my review, and after reading this comment I tried it again (just to make sure). But at this moment it doesn’t work.
At least it is nice to know, that it is a bug. And not just changing a free function to a paid one.
