I have Jetpack. According to Jetpack site stats I have only the new followers since the move. The imported subscribers are not listed in site stats. Are you saying I need to use Jetpack to do the import instead of Tools/Import on the dashboard?

One other question please.
I have another self-hosted site that has an old blog https://www.londonatdawn.com. I want to export those subscribers to my other new blog. https://www.anthonyepes.com. Will importing them this way make them subscribers who receive email notifications?

Hi Nickolay

That is a good link and I will try it. I spoke to my host support – they said email notifications should go out when I post goes up(out of the box) but WP is using php mail which is not as realible as SMTP mail, they said, so the suggestion was to download a plugin for SMTP. I am currently trying this one:

Seems I was looking at the same problem. I found out that I have followers AND subscribers. Followers get the email notifications and my subscribers are not. Not sure why? Maybe we can help each other sort this out.

I’ve got a similar problem where a click on an album loads the galleries but clicking on the gallery thumbs get me a 404 error. Is this your problem also. Sorry I don’t have solution for you.
