Hi,
Unfortunately, this code is not in the functions.php
I hired a company which specialises in cleaning malware infections, they are on the case right now. So far they haven’t been able to find anything. As soon as I know what is going on and what the problem is I will get back here and specify what the problem was.
Best regards,
VincentHi Tom,
Update: the problem is fixed, don’t ask me how but when i clicked back to my website just now (five hours later), the space between NAV bar and image was gone! Again, I dont know how this was possible, sorry to have bothered you woith this….
Best regards,
VincentHi Tom,
The fix discussed in our old thread here doesn’t seem to be working anymore. There is a white space again between my navigation bar and the image below it. I couldn’t get this fixed with the ignore xy-spacing css that you gave me or with the element spacing feature of GP premium. Can you help me please? How can I clear the white space between NAV bar and image below it?Thank you in advance!

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Variable products not showingHi Tom,
Sorry to have left this topic open and not updating you.
In the end, it turned out that I hadn’t configured Woocommerce correctly.
It was a very simple solution, just check the boxes correctly and it worked.
So all the variations were added and showed up on the product but I just hadn’t enabled a simple checkbox so people could actualy select those.Thank you very much for your help checking with Firebug and apologies for my late reaction and negligence.
Best regards,

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Variable products not showingHi Tom,
I haven’t posted this on their support because on the woocommerce support, there are a lot of posts dealing with this issue and none of the solutions posted there work for me (eventhough they do work for the people who posted them). Some solutions talk about using firebug and other developer tools to see where the issue is. I’ve tried this but I just don’t have the experience to succesfully use such tools.
I will post it on their support as well. I was hoping that it could be a quick fix and that using the developer tools would fairly easily (if one knows how to use it) show the issue. One fault that does occur and which I’ve tried to fix, is something to do with a Jquery issue. For this issue there is a WooCommerce jQuery Cookie Fix plugin, which I’ve installed but no luck there….
Right now, not all products are set up with variations, the one that is shown with the link posted above is though.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [GeneratePress] Variable products not showingBy the way, if you click the link https://bit.ly/1CJvY7X , and then the ‘extra information’ button, you can see the three different variations that should appear as drop down menus next to the product image.

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Hosting has PHP safe mode switched onHi Tom,
Yes, I’ve also searched and read some of these comments. Currently, I am already running several sites with your excellent Generatepress theme, using the same host and didn’t have any real issues. I was just wondering if adding Woocommerce will effect my new webshop…tel you, what: I will try it and report back here later when I’ve got the site up and running. I’ll then let you and other users know if it in fact does cause problems. For now, I think we can mark this one as closed.
Cheers Tom and once again, thank you for your quick reply.
Best regadrs,
Vincent

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Can't upload images / png / jpgHi Tom,
Just wanted to let you know that it didn’t work out with the support from my hosting. In the end I just deleted all the content from the content folder through Cpanel and started with a fresh install of WordPress. Now everything is working and the images appear just fine. I still don’t know what was causing the problem though, the 1st install I was working with was also brand new and I hadn’t changed anything on the server side. I had only been working on the site for an hour so no biggie. Anyway, thank you for your support, it’s Always Superb! Cheers!

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Can't upload images / png / jpgBut the images definitely went to the content folder, I saw that when I uploaded 1 image, the image appeared in 4 different sizes. something like 150 x 150, 300 x 300 etc. Is that normal?

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Can't upload images / png / jpgYes, I’ve tried that and they said they cant help me with building my website! I explained that i suspected that it was a permissions problem and I haven’t had any reply to that yet, because it’s 1 o’clock here in Holland right now. But apart from that, I’ve tried to upload files directly into the content folder using filezilla. After moving the images over there using filezilla, they didn’t show in my media library in WP.

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Can't upload images / png / jpgHi Tom,
It’s not the cropping I’m sure, when I upload a jpg for the logo for example, I get an empty thumbnail after uploading. When I copy and paste the URL onto a page, i see the tekst of the actual url, no image. When is use the ‘upload image’ option for a page, i get a small black square with a white cross through it.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [GeneratePress] Can't upload images / png / jpgOnly the GP premium plugin, I’ve already tried to deactivate it and then upload an image but that didn’t fix the problem. Aside from GP Premium, no other plugins active.
Hi Bojan,
Thank you very much for your quick reply, that was exactly what I was looking for and it worked perfectly! Cheers!
