I took a quick look at the site you recommended and immediately felt overwhelmed. My coding skills are not up-to-date, and the site seems to assume a level of skill I don’t have.
If I do figure out how to create the child theme, I don’t believe that would resolve my original question: how do I make the comment forms go away from my pages?
