Thanks Mercine. As I have NO HTML/CSS knowledge – I’m kind of terrified of messing around with it. I’ll go into what you sent and see if I can navigate through it.

I’d like to use the recipe plugin but I’m having trouble with it. I’m sure its because I’m a total newbie at all this. Can you help?

I downloaded the WP Recipes to my site (www.menopauseinmanhattan.com) – which is hosted by godaddy.com

The plugin came up on the Admin panel, I can insert recipes, etc., but it does not show up on the front page. I switched from using Firefox to Safari, but still no luck.
    Can you help? Thanks.

    The message I relieved is:

Warning: include(/home/content/05/7088505/html/wp-content/themes/back-my-book/single-recipes.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/05/7088505/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-recipes/wp-recipes.php on line 192

Thanks Panther8 – it looks a bit daunting. I’ve just moved to the backmybook theme – which is not supposed to be Buddy Press friendly. BUT… if BuddyPress is a plugin that can be applied – then I’ll try it.

    Thanks roostertail,
I have indeed been playing with themes. And I found that I really like backbybook. But the question is still about BuddyPress. Is there anything else out there that provides all the social networking options? If not, how do I apply buddypress to my theme?
