I realized after writing it that is was more of a review than a support request. They completely rewrote the plugin and it destroyed the testimonials section on a live website.

Now I have it working again, but I lost all of the styling that I had set up. Can I expect this to be a problem with all future updates as well?

Hi Jeroen,

Yes I made up the description boxes with HTML. I needed line breaks and links. I can’t access the description box to edit any of those entries. I also can’t delete them. When I try deleting one of them, it deletes the entry directly after it.

Thank you again for your quick response. Unfortunately, the code you provided did not work. I added it to functions.php and changed the condition to “is_page(‘events’)” but when I inspected the code all of WordPress SEO’s meta tags were still present and when I tried to share on Facebook it still redirected to the events page. When your solution didn’t work, I tried deactivating WordPress SEO, but Facebook is still displaying data from the main events page rather than the individual events. II’ve lost a lot of hours to this problem. Do you have any other suggestions?

Franky thank you for getting back with me. The problem is that I’m using WordPress SEO, which does add facebook headers to every page, and I need to continue using this plugin. Is there no way to make EME behave properly on facebook if I’m using WordPress SEO?

I have purchased the Auto Send premium extension but I am having the exact same issue as cited above. I created a Gift Card under products, completed a test transaction, and said to send the gift certificate to me. I never received an email, nor is the gift card present under “Gift Cards” in woocommerce.

I don’t have another slider plugin installed, and was never able to get the Meta Slider to work when I had the nivoslider type selected. I changed it to flexslider and it’s working how I wanted it to.
