perhaps this is a normal behaviour, which I thought I could get around by advising the visitors wishing to post comments to click on the individual post in the sidebar under RECENT POSTS.

The only problem is that this widget (Recent Posts) holds only few posts.

Questions:
how can I increase the number of posts shown in the Recent Posts widget?
If I can’t – HOW can I have the comments fields shown on the main blog page underneath each post?

another problem – my sticky post is not sticky (thought selected as such) – it does not stay on top of the page.

Greg or ANdrew – could you please advise.

An update –

when I click to view just one post on the Blog page – then there is a comments field and social media likes.

but when I simply clicm on the page (eg in the menu) which displays ALL posts – those fields are gone!

I’d be grateful if the theme developer or someone else could please advise ASAP what went wrong and how I can fix this – the slider simply stopped working properly few hours after the site went live. No other changes, no new plugins etc.

I had to deactivate it, while I have spent considerable time on putting my slideshow together and would like to have it on my site working properly.

Greg or Andrew, please advise.

I would appreciate a reply from the plugin developer – as it doesn’t look like it works properly on my GA.

Otherwise, I will simply uninstall it.

Following our conversation with you and Andrew via email (I have a premium support), some of the issues have been resolved with updating the theme to the current version. However, I still have 3 outstanding issues with your page builder about which I sent you an email 2 days ago to which I haven’t received a reply.

Also, I no longer get an auto message that my email has been received – is your email working properly?

I have inserted a new logo which incorporates the site title and subtitle, and removed those elements from their separate fields. It says that they will appear IF THERE IS NO LOGO.

so – I now have the logo – saved – yet NOTHING appears on the page.

Could someone please advise – perhaps the theme developer..?

1. it says that the theme has many inbuilt widgets. I cannot see them anywhere.
2. The Page Builder that I can see has only few settings – where do I get the full drag and drop menu?

The site is not live as I haven’t started building it (it’s in a maintenance mode to hide construction from the public).

I have tried: Responsive, AMDHAS, and also 2012. Responsive doesn’t show at all (blank page), the other two show skewed and without colour. I also got an installation error message with them.

I think I need re-install WP.

BTW – how can I change my username? I didn’t find this option in my Profile.

ok, “files” was my description. The important part was that the system creates SOME space linked to/attached to/part of (whatever the correct words are) my website, which is used when I create a blog, and is not used when there are no blogs.

I have finally sorted it out.

Previously I deleted only Comments rather than Posts. I now deleted the Post, and the blog disappeared.

no need to deactivate my plugins or change my theme. (Btw emptying my cache did not help either)

My friendly Host has also explained to me that WordPress creates domain/category/uncategorised backend files for any blogs.

NOW I understand how this works.
