Thanks – yes, it’s looking like I need to create a separate page that I host, with the map and all the JavaScript code on, and then iframe that into my WordPress post.

Thanks. I’ll use jquery for now since it seems to be the only option, and people without javascript will just have to live with no menu navigation.

Yes.

The problem is that WordPress is not applying the current-menu-item class to News (or any of the other items in the menu, except Home).

argh. since that’s not clear, wordpress is rewriting the tag from

<!--[if !IE]>-->

to

<!--[if !IE]>& # 8 2 1 1;>

(without the spaces)

Twentyten’s original header code:

<title><?php
wp_title( '|', true, 'right' );
?></title

has the same problem. I have no interest in changing their code: I just want my site title to show up!

Thanks Samboll – I’ve seen that page – but is it possible to use the month name, not the month num?

%monthnum% is an official tag shown there, but I’m wondering if I have to do some fancy rewriting to use the month name.

I’d like to know the answer to this too… anyone?
