I am also trying to get this plugin to work! I took a quick look at your website, and yes, your website is collecting cookies.

I checked your website in a incognito browser and then clicked the little lock on the left side of our URL. There you can see there are 28 cookies in use.

If you don’t want the cookies to get stored, you have to put the script in the box where it says Script Blocking, just above the reload checking box.

When I do that with my Google analytics it works. But when I revoke the cookies and don’t accept, this plugin won’t delete the cookies. So that is where I am stuck right now.

Same problem over here. After accepting cookies the cookies appear, but after revoking and stop accepting the cookies the cookies are still present…

It is also messing up a very important plugin that we use voor shipping. I decided to just delete this plugin from our websites. So resolved now.

Yes I think it is something in your theme to. In my theme it works just fine. I use a standard theme from WordPress. I looked up the code for the author and this is it in my theme:

<a class="url fn n" href="%3$s">%4$s</a>

I don’t know your theme, but maybe it is missing the 4$ in the middle?

In the template-tags.php I can change the code. I think it is a different file in you theme. If you have experience with FTP maybe you can try to search for:

<div class="post-author"><i class="fas fa-user"></i>

And try to change the code there. That is what I would try ??

What did you try in the CSS?

Does this work:

.post-author {
    display: none;
}

I had the same problem, just saving the permalinks did not work…

But when I changed the permalinks to standard – then saved it – then changed it back to the custom structure again, it did work!

I am still testing but I think the code has to be added in the WordPress dashboard itself. Then navigate to the Breadcrumb NavXT in the sidebar, under settings.

There you will find some possibilities to add the code!

It is 3 months ago…but I was looking for a same solution for my twenty sixteen theme. I don’t know if this works for you current theme, but I had succes with the code on this website.

I noticed the same thing today ?? I think it is caused by MozBar, do you happen to have that extension to?

If I check my website on a other browser or incognito the warning is not showing up.
