all working ok for me from updates screen.

Kat, sorry unable to test at this time, just completed the changes on a win7 pc yesterday.

same can’t update from 3.4.5 to 3.6.

exactly the same error message on my localhost.

I have just restored a website to my localhost to update the theme and am getting this error when running a backup post updating urls etc. Difference for me since last running a backup from this plugin on localhost is that I’m now running on Win10 (not win 7). Not happening on my live sites that run linux servers.

PS backup is running ok, the wp files and database file are being created and placed in the .zip file.

all appears to be working, my apologies it does appear to be the cache not clearing properly.

Kat I think you are correct, I have just checked one of the sites and the options to run the backup, settings, download etc are back. Maybe w3 caches wasn’t actually emptying all the caches…

Will report back after checking other sites.

2 of 7 sites now have the backup buttons available. The only difference is –
‘that site I upgraded the backup plugin a few days ago, have updated to 4.4 today and didn’t need to update the plugin.’

The plugin was updated to the latest version prior to the wp4.4 upgrade on the 2 sites that are still working.

The trick was to install pro before removing the free version.

Upgraded next site to wp4.4, didn’t upgrade the plugin and have the same issue.

how bizarre, I made another css change saved and it works just fine, sorry to bother you!

I had 2 issues going on, this one along with some contact form spam. I was using a different contact form and have now changed back to my tried and trusty contact form plugin, so that’s taken care of.

I added some filters a couple of days ago and all this nonsense is no longer appearing on my sites, no referrals showing in my reports from either free-social-buttons.com or free-share-buttons.com so it looks like this is being taken care of too.
