Unfortunately I think this plugin has stopped being maintained, there are too many error reports coming from it’s use. It’s a real pity the developers do not communicate, therefore trust cannot continue. I do not recommend paying for it.

This is the log from the last backup I launched manually an hour ago (DB only) from the UpDraft menu, should it be transferred to Google Drive as planned too or will it only stay local since it was not a programed backup but a manual one ? In any case, it does not appear in my Google Drive so far, and remains local.

Hi. Thanks for your quick answer. I thought this might be it, I will look into it more. But the website I am developping is so small… I will try to trim the files by deleting any unused theme, plugins, etc… but the entire website (DB and files) shouldn’t be over 150M… so I am not sure what is happening. I will manually delete the temporary backups through FTP again, then see if the available space is taken in account. I will then try backing up manually again.

Hi, sorry but this is not working, I keep getting saturated hosting space (limited to 1Gb) even after having checked the box last week. Should I manually delete the existing local backups through FTP, and from there on will it stop making local backups ?

Hi,
There is a function in the WP backoffice (left menu) : Settings > UpDraftPlus.
Then again in the Settings tab, scroll down until you see “Show Advanced Settings”. There you should make sure you checked the box “Delete local backup”.
This is what is said by the book, but to be honest, it doesn’t work for me, I still get 2 backups : one on Google Drive that I want to keep using, and a local one that keeps saturating my hosting space.

Same here, I installed the free plugin that claims to display Instagram hashtag feeds, but wherever I try to implement the shortcode (sidebar, random page or post…) it does not work, nothing displays.
I am desperately trying to find a plugin that can display the feed according to a hashtag, not an account, and thought your’s was the one, but seems like it’s not working.
