    Thanks SriniG,

    I’ll try that tonight and let you know.

    IF you see a creamy background then it probably is cremy – it’s very close to white anyway so it might just be something from my phone.

    Hi SriniG,

    thank you very much for your always fast answer.

    I tried using your code but the header image is still not showing on mobile devices.

    I also noticed that I changed the background color of the them to a slight creamy tone, but that is also gone on the mobile – background is white.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks again,

    Javier

    Hi MbrSolution,

    actually I managed to do it. I had a wrong line on my php code – I added this one on my Header.php and works like a charm

    <?php do_action(‘slideshow_deploy’, ‘xxx’); ?>

    Thanks anyway for your help!

    It’s my first time building a web on WordPress, but I’ve been using it for sometime.

    I really don’t know how to answer to that. It works similarly to my other website: jkrawietz.com

    As you see, there is a main or “home” page where all post entries are listed, and there there are some pages with different information depending on the section.

    I would want to show the Slideshow ONLY on that first homepage…

    Hi mbrsolution,

    this mght sound a little stupid, but what I haven’t been able to find is that Home page where I can add the shortcode.

    I am using the Emphaino Theme and my home is a list – showreel of all posts made (kind of a news section, actually); I haven’t been able to find a place to post this.

    I thought maybe the solution would be changing the line of the php code and telling wordpress to show the slideshow only in the homepage with this code:

    <?php if( is_home() ) { ?>

    But didn’t work…

    Hi SriniG,

    once again thank you very much – everything is now as planned and the banner is showing correctly with the new image. I had to crop it anyway because it would not show it correctly (the jpg has the right measure, 940px 300px) but after a little tweaking it shows how I wanted it to show.

    Hi baszer and thanks for answering,

    unfortunately I’m running everything locally because my “client” (Actually some friends who are starting up a record label) has not yet booked a hosting service.

    The Header image is fixed to be 940×140 or something like that – I just want to make the height bigger, something like 300px.

    Tried changing the size specified at the functions.php file but even after doing it and uploading the new picture would appear cropped…

    I would love to post the code but I’m at work and don’t have the data with me, I’ll try to post it when I’m home at night so that you see what I did.

    Hi SriniG,

    Thanks for this amazing theme.
    I actually had not seen this option, will try it at night and tell you if it worked.
