Having the same issue here. I am NOT using multi-site and the crazy thing is that 4 out of the 6 slideshows I have are working. Two of them just get stuck on the loading gif.

Edit: the above fix works for FF and Safari only.

So, to be clear:
Ordering the images in the slideshow is NOT allowed if only using the HTML5 player?
Can/will this be fixed?
I have this same issue and am not using the flash slideshow, only the non-flash. Is there no way to custom sort the non-flash slideshow?
