In reply to: [Responsive Lightbox & Gallery] won't work with my thumbnail gallerywell, I’m out of ideas. I’ve just hardcoded both the css AND the js file to make the overlay #111 and it hasn’t changed a thing. Total mystery.

In reply to: [Responsive Lightbox & Gallery] won't work with my thumbnail galleryThanks for taking the time. I did that and got this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘exit’ (T_EXIT) in /home/threecoa/public_html/archvis3d/wp-content/plugins/responsive-lightbox/includes/class-frontend.php on line 1
not sure if that’s because I opened it in notepad and saved it.
in any case, I don’t think getting into the guts of this plugin is worth while. Literally all I want is a lightbox that’s dark. The NGG one is white and I used to be able to make it dark but they make it harder and harder with every update to tweak it.
This should be much easier. So check it out here.
and I want to change the #fancybox-overlay (semi opaque background that sits behind an image once it’s in lightbox mode) from light grey to dark grey. It’s currently generated via javascript I think because I can’t override the CSS for the life of me.
Would be much appreciated if you could figure that out!

In reply to: [Responsive Lightbox & Gallery] won't work with my thumbnail gallerythanks for checking in.
well, I just installed it and checked a few options. Any idea what I should do to fix this?

In reply to: [Responsive Lightbox & Gallery] won't work with my thumbnail galleryHi, thanks for getting back to me, but that doesn’t work either.
It’s worth noting that the lightbox worked from the very start on my blog.
Just not on the gallery page.
Also worth noting that it is a NGG gallery, not an image.

In reply to: div is getting cut off at the bottomThanks a bunch! ??
I already have the ‘override thumbnail settings’ set to ‘yes’.
And the size of the thumbnails (150) is a size I set it to. Not the default size. Not sure if that’s what you mean though.
I never used to have problems with this gallery when the thumbs smaller. I recently resized them to 150 and all hell broke loose with the plugin. I can’t even change the crop via the NG interface since doing that. I have to download the thumbnail, change it locally, then re-upload it.
Thanks for getting back to me. Here’s the page:
I used the green button to insert the gallery and replace the old code but nothing has changed in terms of thumbnail size.

In reply to: Need to do basic customization of FancyboxYep, googled the hell out of this and have come up with NOTHING that even comes close to working. Essentially need to change the fancybox background color or frame color from white to something else. Maybe change its size.
So far, any code resembling this is already #0e0e0e, which isn’t right as the background is white and that is almost black.
cool, bug report submitted.
yeah, been doing all that for over a day now and even had friends send me screen shots. I’ve even gone into the FTP site and pulled down the thumbnails and observed the disparity.
It’s not a server cache thing either coz I can change other site features and they update fine.
edit: clearing the cache within the plugin’s UI doesn’t help, nor does ‘create new thumbnail’ in the manage gallery section.
Anyone?
I can confirm that since installing the latest version of NGG, my thumbnail crop changes in the ‘manage galleries’ section don’t update on the front end.

In reply to: just need to center align a divThanks for getting back to me.
Well, I was hoping for an easy, local fix to the div as I’m just a copy and paste monkey and don’t want to complicate things (I know this may seem fairly straightforward to most).
I only edit once a year and don’t want to get lost next time I come to tweak it.
So for now I’ve sort of cheated it by padding a div out from the left. Not ideal.
Cheers though ??
Thanks for getting back to me ??
Ok, I deactivated Simple Lightbox and went with the default one that comes with NGG. Your first suggestion didn’t do anything.
Just wondering though, is it possible to change the border that surrounds the images from white to something else?
Cheers!

In reply to: Simple Lightbox not working after updatingHi,
Thanks for the reply. Could you further explain one or two things at all? Regarding the link I posted above which contains thumbnails of nextgen galleries, I’m not sure what you mean by manually added attributes?
And again, not sure what you mean by formatting (as I can’t seem to find where abouts the manually added attributes are, I can’t see how they’re formatted, but even if I could I probably wouldn’t know if they’re formatted improperly).
Thanks again!
