Yes, clicking on a sub-sites Dashboard from Admin panel leads me to domain.tld/wp-admin/
No, Salt is disabled.
Yes, I do run AIOS 5.1.9I’m using different URL’s for subsites, no sub domains. (maybe this helps?)
I did a quick screen recording to show you how our customers try to access their ?other sites? from within multisite admin:
https://mkab.ch/20230612_AIOS.movOnce the user is logged in to every single site, it works (of course). But: as the user is already logged in to one but not to the other site(s), the dashboard links don’t work.
So, my feature request is: as admin is authenticated area, change dashboard link (herein) to the renamed login page.
Therefore if a user is not (yet) logged in, it works as well. And: as this is not public nor a redirect, it also does not cause any security vulnerability.
I just have been able to fix the problem.
It seems it had to do with Updating WordPress to v6.1 or v6.1.1 (and maybe in combination with multisite installation).
Somehow the .htaccess file broke. To fix this I had to:
– Deactivate all Plugins
– Rename .htaccess to something like .htaccess_backup20221211.bak
– (Multisite installation) Create new .htaccess file with multisite code as written in WordPress admin / network setup
– Re-Activate every plugin one-by-oneMany thanks @rankmathteam, that worked for me just perfect!
I do have the same problem; can’t get site to be connected to RankMath.
I use Multisite setup and CAN connect my network’s main WordPress (though this doesn’t make any sense to me), but none of my Multisite’s sites…
