Yes! Thank you, Nikita – all looks perfect. I’ll get the client to check the whole site for himself (he knows his pages better than me) but the Order Direction is all working again.
Awesome – thanks for quick reply, Nikita ??
Hi Nikita,
Thanks for the reply and for looking into this.
I have just upgraded to 3.3.5 but unfortunately the issue still remains – the ASC/DESC toggle still has no effect, and the page(s) remain in the reverse order from that desired.
Also, just to be sure, I have also just tested the VP plugin 3.3.5 (with ALL other plugins deactivated) on the WP 2024 theme, and the issue is still there. If you say the issue should be fixed with 3.3.5 (but it is not on our site) could there be something else (other than theme and plugins) that might be in conflict with our particular site? Hosting is SiteGround, PHP 7.4.33.
I have now downgraded back to 3.3.1 which does not have this issue.
Cheers,
Andy
@fstrim – I also have this issue (differently-shaped/formatted images not resizing in a row to leave large gaps between images), and found switching the ‘Enable Lazy Loading for images’ switch off on JetPack solved the issue. This is the only site I maintain with JetPack (and the only site I have this Visual Portfolio plugin, too), and the client is happy to leave the switch off, so all good here.

In reply to: [ACF RGBA Color Picker] Broken in WP 5.5Thank you, Thomas! It’s fixed my issue …although the plugin – and code – is still showing version 1.2.1 (although the package is for 1.2.2). Could that be why my Plugins folder wasn’t prompting for an update?

In reply to: [ACF RGBA Color Picker] Broken in WP 5.5Hi – yes, broken on my sites as well, causing errors on the Theme Options page. Not sure if this plugin is supported any longer, though.
Hi Bryle – I don’t believe it is a busy site, so your explanation may well be correct.
I have added more log files that you requested in the folder here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/spmpv1q04yeszja/AACAkAvwH_O53BEHHlmDnZWTa?dl=0 – I have labelled each file with date and time, and in doing so I have spotted that some backups are occurring twice in the same day.
In the meantime, I’ll study your guide and see if I can set up some automated visits.
Thanks Bryle,
Andy
Hi Bryle,
Thanks for the speedy reply.
This is the latest backup log (from this morning):
https://www.dropbox.com/s/pt4a9rsy9bkrika/log.84bd394edd90.txt?dl=0Also, here is a screenshot of my recent backups:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/lojuqu76a8grqoq/Backup%20Restore%20screenshot.png?dl=0…and how my settings are configured:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/z4u1r5vmjvm7e3p/Settings%20screenshot.png?dl=0I don’t have access to the backup DropBox (only the client has) but it looks like, since doing the WIPE, the system is now removing the fourth backup correctly (which hopefully eliminates the issue of DropBox filling up), but for some reason it is still doing daily backups.
Thank you for your assistance on this ??
Andy
Ah – superb. I also needed to differentiate between pages where the portfolio layout’s ‘content source’ was ‘post-based’ (which I still wanted clickable) and those where the ‘content source’ was ‘images’ (which I needed to disable), but I’ve found the appropriate classes and it’s all good.
Many thanks nK!

In reply to: [Accept Stripe Payments] Can’t exit Test ModeHi @mra13,
I haven’t been through the usual procedure of disabling plugins and themes to check if my issue was site specific (I haven’t had the time as yet)… it may well be. I’ll try and schedule that in shortly to help you diagnose this (for now, we’re selling, so we not panicking!)
My hosts caching (SiteGround) is usually cleared using their plugin – all other updates I make are visible once I ‘purge the cache’. I don;t use any other caching plugins.
But I am inclined to rule out a caching issue as I can toggle between ‘LIVE’ and ‘TEST’ modes, but it only makes a difference to products created during these modes.
Just to recap, this is the behaviour I’m currently seeing:
1. Any product created when ‘Live Mode’ checkbox is UNCHECKED will only work in Test Mode (regardless of whether ‘Test Mode’ box is checked or not).
2. Any product created when ‘Live Mode’ checkbox is CHECKED will only work in Live Mode (regardless of whether ‘Test Mode’ box is checked or not).I’ll reply back when I’ve run my elimination procedure.
Cheers,
Andy

In reply to: [Accept Stripe Payments] Can’t exit Test ModeHi @mbrsolution,
Thanks for the reply. I have checked with your link and yes, I have correctly set up the plugin and product.
However, on further investigation, I have now noticed that NEW buttons are working without the ‘Test Mode’ notification, whereas any button that was created yesterday (at the time when I had ‘Test Mode’ activated in the ‘Settings’) are still showing ‘Test Mode’ on the pop-up payment box. That’s surely not correct behaviour?
And now unchecking the ‘Live Mode’ box in the ‘Settings’ has no effect – my good buttons are still in ‘Live Mode’ and my bad buttons are still in ‘Test Mode’.
At least I may be able to fudge my way through testing (by making sure I create buttons whilst in ‘Test Mode’)… but I’m not convinced this works as it should.
Cheers,
Andy
Hi Alessandro, it hasn’t worked unfortunately.
I’ve uninstalled your plugin, deactivated all other plugins and switched to TwentyNineteen default theme, then re-installed WPUM, but still no Registration Form (even after trying your fix again too).
Not sure why it works fine on a default installation, but not on the client’s one, and I’m limited in how to debug this further without host server access.
Thanks for your help, anyway.
Cheers,
Andy
