In reply to: [Antispam Bee] Can you make all Korean language comments go to Spam? Thanks.
Did not realize that your original response point “Number 1” links to a guide that in turn shows you how to only allow English language comments from within the plugin settings. Was a bit confusingly worded.
So this is perfect as I can change the plugin settings within WordPress to only accept English comments. Never saw this before.

In reply to: [Antispam Bee] Can you make all Korean language comments go to Spam? Thanks for the reply. Is there any reason that the plugin sends all WordPress Russian comments to Spam, but sends all WordPress Korean comments to Pending?
Would be great if you could do it in the plugin, like you do for Russian comments by default.
Around 20 minutes after I removed the plugin, the spam e-mails finally stopped!
Thanks for your very detailed response.
I had the free version of the plugin, but may check out the paid version in case that has the further protections.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Autoptimize] Journey by Mediavine (exclude “scriptwrapper”)Thanks.
It updated fine this time and kept both UA- and G- Analytics tracking IDs in their respective boxes. Google Analytics live tracking data also seems ok and did not go to 0.
Besides what I posted in my last comment regarding the email content, the subject of the email was “Your Site is Experiencing a Technical Issue” and another part of the e-mail said “If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.”
No particular precise error name or description mentioned besides the “ajax” page link I posted before. Email said that I would find the error that was caught on that linked page (where I found and still find just a “0” on top).
In any event, the problem is now gone and thanks for the plugin!
Got a warning right after the plugin update yesterday that it failed. But the internal notification of “this plugin has a new update available” disappeared, so I think it still got updated.
But the field in “Google Analytics Tracking ID” in basic settings is blank. I assume it was not before?
Also got an email notification:
“
WordPress has a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, CAOS.
“
The same e-mail also asked me to check:
My URL/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
And that page shows a blank page with a “0” in the upper left corner.Edit: I added back my UA- tracking ID and it automatically remembered and filled out the G- tracking ID too. I regenerated the alias and it seems to all be ok now.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Remove Google Fonts no longer works?Makes sense, thanks again!

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Remove Google Fonts no longer works? The last thing I like to do is add more plugins if possible ?? Even the best reviewed ones cause issues down the road and add extra code, show up in error logs etc. Even 8 years after I removed several well known ones (such as Wordfence), their names show in Google Search Console “Pages” section error breakouts.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Remove Google Fonts no longer works? Thanks! Which file should the snippet be added into? This problem only started after the WordPress “dolphy” update this year FYI.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Remove Google Fonts no longer works?I messages you on Twitter. Did not want to post my domain and GTMetrix waterfall link here.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Remove Google Fonts no longer works? Can you test for WordPress Twenty Fourteen? It is loading at least 5-6 fonts and slowing down my site load by a full second.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Remove Google Fonts no longer works? Thanks for the offer. Was just curious if you could change something in the plugin itself to account for the new WordPress change. It is not a major speed issue so I will hold off (might get a new theme with different fonts in the near future anyway).
Thanks, but when I tried new themes, they did not bring in my numerous images correctly aligned, and it looked terrible on widescreen layouts. I also prefer the current theme left and right column widths (desktop view) for my unique purposes.
The code change is actually very basic if only I could find the correct files. I would just need to replace a few H1 instances with H3. No extra lines of code needed whatsoever. I have made code changes many times. In this case, I would not even use a child theme and just remember to update to the H3 each time the Theme is updated.
Thanks, that will work and you can close this thread.
I keep deleting the shortcode that I added to the post, but after I resave, it always adds the code back despite the plugin being de-activated. Very strange.
Edit: Reactivated the plugin, then downloaded the CSV of the one table I created, then deleted the plugin. Then deleted the shortcode in the post and it is finally gone without coming back. Could have just been a conflict with my caching plugin or something else. In any case, your plugin tables look great, but I only need 3-4 tables and will stick with basic html tables.
