In reply to: Why my blogs register users are unable to post?It sounds like “New User Default Role” is set to subscriber role (the default). Rather than change this settings (which would affect all new registering users), I’d suggest finding the account of the person you want to be your new guest author and changing the permission role on their account separately.

In reply to: [Event Calendar] [Plugin: Ajax Event Calendar] Calender Stopped ShowingIt looks as though you got it working again, unless I’m mistaken.
Care to share the particulars? It might help others who are having the same issue.

In reply to: feed basicsFor the first option, you basically pick a graphic and then link the graphic to the URL of your feed.

In reply to: Star Rating PluginI’ve found one plugin that appears to match your description:

However, it has not been updated in years and may possibly break things– so I’d say try it out at your own risk, make sure you’ve got good current backups, etc.

In reply to: Frustrated beyond beliefThere’s a couple different ways you could do this.
Probably the easiest is to put all the agenda posts in a category (e.g. Agenda).
From there, assuming that the Chameleon theme uses the WordPress custom menus . . . you could create a new entry in your WordPress custom menu (Appearance -> Menus) that points to the “Agenda” category.
I’ve never used the Chameleon theme, though, so if it doesn’t use Custom menus, you might need to look at the documentation and figure out what it does use.

In reply to: feed basicsI’m not certain what you are asking me.
Are you asking me:
1) how to insert an RSS graphic on your page, that links to the feed?
2) how to get the rss icon to “automagically” appear in your browser’s address bar when you visit the site?

In reply to: My posts won't showHmm. Can you try switching to a default theme, such as TwentyEleven and seeing if the pagination works there?
Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: feed basicsYes, that’s correct. You’ve got it– just replace example.com with your particular domain.
You can always “test” the URL by typing it into your browsers address bar, as well. That way, if there’s a problem with the feed, you’ll see it firsthand.

In reply to: My posts won't showThe logo div for the Beauty & Clean demo appears to be 302 pixels wide by 92 pixels tall.
As for the pagination . . . have you tried deactivating all your plugins and seeing if the pagination works then?

In reply to: feed basicsHi, Ken
No plugin should be required. It’s already “baked in” to WordPress.
As far as what to use for the feed’s URL, it depends, but you can learn the specifics here:

In reply to: How to get new posts to pages?I think it’s more of a matter of multiple posts (i.e. a category) vs. a single post (i.e a page) . . . but as I said, there’s more than one way to do this. I tried to opt for the simplest.
