But why json is the very file format the Ninja Forms exports, so why would the support form deny that file format?

The instructions on the support form are bad then and are in great need of updating.

I’m having the exact same annoying issue since installing 6.3.1, regardless of me using an iPad or a desktop computer. The problem is on both.

FWIW, I’m using the Hemingway theme. I suspect this a WordPress core issue, not a theme issue.

I reinstalled 6.3.1 and the problem persists.

(I’m a little leery about installing the Heath Check plugin given that about one third of the reviews are 1 star.)

Hi, thanks Ivah, though under Appearance, I have these options:
– Theme
– Editor (Beta)
– Additional CSS

There is no “Customize” option. I never opted in for a Beta version of anything, so I’m not sure why I have have “Editor (Beta)” as an option.

Thanks, Michael! I think it was a caching error or something bizarre with my browser. I tried another browser and it worked fine. (Embarrassing!) I suspect part of it is that it’s time for me to upgrade my computer, it’s boggy these days and I get occasional errors.

Thanks, James. I’ll try disabling XMLRPC and see what happens.

As far as attacks, when I checked the logs there was no evidence of any. Since the site gets little traffic (for now), nearly all the visits are by my IP addresses . . . the rest are a pittance. The CPU spikes definitely coincide with me editing/posting.

Here’s a question. If I’m editing on via a desktop browser, why is there any XMLPRC activity? I thought that was for mobile devices. ??

Thanks, Liew. I currently do use it, but I can get around it, if I have to. However, so far, there has been no evidence of any brute force attack in my logs. The CPU spike always seems to coincide with me editing a post.

Unfortunately, my session timed out and I lost my first typed reply. (Grrr. Sigh.) Here it goes again…

As I said previously, I upgraded to a full core for my server plan. Today, I posted for the first time since. The CPU spiked to 100% and my site got limited again—even with a full core! I don’t get it.
