I totally understand. I will take you up on your offer if I can reproduce the problem on a test site so I don’t have to share login information to the main site since it has sensitive information on it already. The test site works perfectly fine and I think it’s because there’s only like two pages, lol. So when I get time I’ll try to create the pages from the main site that appear at the top on the test site and see what happens and let you know probably end of next week when I have time to do all this.

So, I retried the codes and what’s weird is the code on that page works for hyphens (the one you posted), but the one for ampersands seems to limit the search results to a couple, but H&M isn’t one of them. Could there be a conflict with my theme or I’ve no idea. I’m 100% I’ve copied the code for the ampersand correctly (I’ve tried it a few times). It’s weird.

Um. I guess people wouldn’t generally think so. It was just that I input a website address and forgot to use a different URL.

So I did a conflict test and found that this happens when my theme (Catch Flames Free) is activated with Ultimate Member plugin. Running either alone, this issue doesn’t happen. Together they do. Any ideas how to prevent this conflict?

Thanks for your response. I like deleted, and recopied and repasted the code and I like triple-checked to make sure nothing was added or missing, and h&m doesn’t seem to want to pop up in the search results ??

Thanks for getting back to me quickly. Appreciate it. I copied and pasted the code in the link for the ampersand and rebuilt the index to test H&M (a page I have as well), and no page turns up in the index now? I must be doing something wrong

Thanks for getting back to me. Yeah, Ben helped me with that. We used that code to remove the double spacing between lines so that way there wouldn’t be the default extra space between the line breaks.
