Have either of you posted today and had the sharing work successfully? I haven’t tried yet and was just wondering?

I was just wondering if your post worked today on getting on FB and Twitter?

I added to a forum over on Jetpack support for the same issue as two others have been experiencing this as well.

Summary –

I posted at 12:01AM – entry went on site, users got email, but no posting on FB, Twitter, or Googleplus

I posted at 12:13 AM a second posting – entry went on site, users got email, but still no posting on FB, Twitter, or Googleplus

12:33am – first posting shows up on FB, Twitter, and Googleplus
1:41 AM – 2nd Posting STILL HASN’T shown up on FB, Twitter, or Googleplus

My hosting server at Godaddy is fine, no issues over there. Several others have complained of this happening. Is Jetpack having a queuing issue, did a node go down?

One last update before I head to bed… i tried a test posting at 12:13 am and as of 1:30am it still hasn’t showed on on FB, GooglePlus, or Twitter… the first one from 12:01 AM as I said before, showed up at 12:33am on all three, but the second one never did… I checked with GoDaddy who hosts my blog and the issue wasn’t on their server… it’s definitely with Jetpack and I’m wondering if the queue is backed up or shut down right now to send out sharing requests?

Update… my sharing went through 32 minutes late… it just showed up on all three at the same time, but 32 minutes past when it actually posted on my site as well as when the e-mails went out?

Same issue here… i just tried posting my article at 12:01 AM like I do every night and my share to FB, GooglePlus, and Twitter all didn’t go through… my emails to my subscribers did… but none of the sharing medias did? My site is:

I too am finding my publicize is not working tonight. I just posted something twice and while my e-mails went out to my users… the Facebook, twitter, and googleplus connections did not… I have been posting find with no issues for weeks and no changes have been made on my site (meaning no new plugins or anything, nor any updates in a bunch of days either… my site is https://www.thetwelfthstep.com.

I discovered late last night that it was a security setting on my browser itself. Thank goodness it’s not a wordpress issue.

Brandon, I just wanted to thank you for all your help and quick replies. I guess if Google Plus decides to ever see I’m worthy of adding the picture, it remains to be seen. Regardless, thanks again. This post can be closed now.

I’ve been wondering if part of their algorithm is to look at a site’s traffic and also it’s relevance and importance. I”m writing a blog on spirituality and it is relatively brand new. My old blog, which also was google plus ready, was blog.andrewarthurdawson.com and it was up and running for an entire year and a half with no picture showing up. So I’m not sure what it would take for my picture to ever show up and have kind of accepted it may never unfortunately…

Actually, it’s quite possible that I just assumed it was there because I had seen it in a direct post. The fact is though, I still don’t have my picture show up on google searches anyway, even though I have had authorship going for awhile now. Do you find that Google picks and chooses who they allow the search results to get that picture put next to their blog?
