I actually didn’t give WP the smarts to highlight each page. The menu tabs up by the header were added by me and are not apart of WordPress, or the WordPress menu.

The crop marks in the corners are just a little bit of extrat design to liven the page up. Afterall, what other blog/website has crop marks? (Of course, it’s just a matter of personal preference).

I like the horizontal menu style because it makes the page layout simpler and more elegant, and it doesn’t take space away fromt the actual blog.

I’m not sure what you mean about getting the menu to highlight. Do you mean a link hover?

Add this to your wp-layout.css (you might want to search the css document to make sure the code property hasn’t already been called):

CSS is pretty self-explanatory. So if it’s too big/too small just change the font-size declaration. You can also type

color: red;

to change it red (I’m just using red as an example here) or whatever other color you want it to be.

Yeah, when I said “rotate.png” I meant “rotate.php.” I have tried referring to the php file simply as another image, but I always get the little question mark icon, and the image doesn’t load. I’m certain I have the actually php file set right. Strange.

I think you need to open the master photoshop file for the header (assuming you did it in photoshop, and saved the photoshop file), and save it as a JPEG, and turn the quality to at least 75 or 80.

It’s pretty nice (better than the average WordPress blog), and the design is better than most templates I’ve seen… but that poor header image is suffering from too much compression! Uncompress! Uncompress! ??
