In reply to: [The Ultimate Video Player For WordPress - by Presto Player] Great plugin!Thank you for your response and I understand there isn’t much you can say other than what you said. It would have been great seeing a stronger commitment towards this particular feature as it was obvious in the facebook group that people were/are getting frustrated and previous timelines have long been passed.
I do get that the team is also working on surecart and other sureproducts where the priorities are mainly. Still, I had hope for more.Ok so I think I am one step closer. The page is a normal wordpress page, in buddypress settings I assign different BuddyPress component directory to different pages.
So the “members” component directory is assigned to my members page
The “activity” component directory is assigned to my activity pageI didn’t have the activity directory active yet, I only had the page. When I had just the page, all was fine, the moment I activated the “activity directory” the same happened as with my members page. Things were visible. When I did a search on the members page (as a non user) I got a 404, when I’m logged in I don’t.
So there is some protection it just doesn’t completely work. Still, they are just wordpress pages, unlike the profile page in buddypress for which I don’t have a wordpress page, that one is completely generated by buddypress.
Hope this helps in narrowing things down,
Thanks,
André
Hi,
The page belongs to my theme, elumine, but the content on it is provided by buddypress. Strangely enough, the activity stream ( https://students.nelsonbcguitarlessons.ca/activity/ ) is protected. There the situation is the same: elumine page with buddypress info on it.
In any case, the page in question has buddypress enabled on it.
Thanks
André

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 total Cache creates 403Hi MaruscaGabriel,
Yes I did. It was the setting “cache ssl requests” . I think that is a setting on page caching or browser caching. I had it checked but it needed to be unchecked in our case. After that the 403 had disappeared ??
I hope I have all naming correct as I currently have w3totalcache disabled while we’re working on the site

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 total Cache creates 403Is there anyone who can help with this?
GTmetrix can’t even load the site: https://gtmetrix.com/analyze.html
and it is persistent in tools.pingdom.com.

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Plugin Organizer Yoast Video Seo Break Websiteok thanks,
but would you be so kind to tell me where the settings are stored? that way I don’t have to re-do all the settings should this removal not work and the conflict persist.
