In reply to: [ShareThis Share Buttons] Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out, I’d be happy to help here!
This error does happen most likely because when you did first install our plugin then there was a desynchronization between your ShareThis property and your WordPress plugin and I’m happy to let you know that this is an easy fix!
All you will need to do is to:
1. Go to your ShareThis Plugin Settings through your WordPress dashboard.
2. Verify that the Property ID is the same as the one stated on your site’s property within your ShareThis dashboard. If the Property ID doesn’t match the one of your property’s settings within your ShareThis dashboard then, you will need to:
1. Copy your Property ID which is located within your site’s property settings.
2. Paste the ID onto your ShareThis Plugin’s Settings and click on the “update” button.
3. Give it roughly 15 minutes for it to populate on our system and give it a try!In case you are having an issue following the steps above, I do recommend you do the following:
1. Delete all of your ShareThis Plugins through your WordPress Plugins manager. Here is a quick clip you can use as a reference and remember to delete every plugin on-which ShareThis appears as the author.
2. Delete your site’s property within your ShareThis Dashboard. Here is a quick clip you can use as a reference for doing so.
3. Reinstall our ShareThis Plugin through your WordPress Dashboard.By doing those last three steps our system will automatically create a new property within your ShareThis dashboard and get automatically connected back.
Please do let me know if there is anything else I can help you with!
Best regards,

In reply to: [ShareThis Share Buttons] SyntaxError: missing ) in button/sharethis.jsHi there @jacobredhawk,

Can you please provide me a little bit more of information about your issue as for example some specific URLs which are being affected for me to dig deeper into your case and provide you with a solid solution?
Thank you,
AndresHi there @go2online,
Thanks for reaching out, I will be more than happy assisting you! ??
1. You are able to create a single property only for a specific domain. For example, creating several properties for “domain.com” then, you won’t be able as all of our services do use your domain’s URLs as pivot points in order for your data as Share Counts and even your Social Analytics dashboard to be displayed properly and therefore creating more than one property for a domain isn’t supported.
2. Can you please verify for me your plugin’s settings and provide me with some specific URLs which are being affected by this alongside some screenshots displaying what this looks like on your end?
3. This may be as your Minimum Count is set to a number higher than the actual count for that specific page so, in order for you to be able to display your counts in all of your pages then, I do recommend you decreasing your Minimum Count to “0” within your plugin’s settings.
As well, we are always looking forward to improving our services so they can fit our users’ necessities at their best so, can you please provide me with some more detailed information about the changes you have in mind so we can take it into consideration within our next updates?
Best,

In reply to: [ShareThis Reaction Buttons] reactions on archive pageHi there @cyber02123,
Thanks for reaching out, I’d be happy to help here! ??
Yes go ahead an add <?php echo sharethis_reaction_buttons(); ?> to your archive template within the loop where you desire them to show. It will target each post separately if used on an archive, front page or tag.
Please do let me know if there is anything else I can help you with!

In reply to: [ShareThis Share Buttons] Share Count Not AppearingHi there @graicifyd,
Thanks for your reply!
The sharing count for our buttons is tied to the URL of the page. This means that if the URL is changed, then the counts will reset. Changes to the URL can include:
Changing the URL to something new.
Switching from one sub-domain to another.
Changing SSL (eg, updating from http to https).
Including a re-direct on the URL.
Implementing the data-url parameter on the button code with a different URL than the page URL.At this time, there is no way to transfer/export the stats between different URLs.
With that in mind, can you please let me know if any of those does suit your case?
As if it does then, that is the main reason why this did happen on your end and, in case they don’t then, can you please do let me know if all of your site’s pages were affected or if only some of them were?
