Please pass the [idref] within your plugin to $result. Reason: I’ve created an ajax multistep with cf7 and jquery. In the end, i just need the idref (id of the input) of the first field that got an error. Then i locate it among the multi-steps.

My workaround for now is:

• Unmark “*” required fields with dependencies to unrequired fields
• Created a custom validation thus dependencies in function.php -> https://contactform7.com/2015/03/28/custom-validation/

Would be nice to hear if my request will make it into your plugin.
