Hi,
Thats more than a pitty that the plugin doesn’t support the guests case. :-((
Then, I have to check other plugins.
Hi
Yes, it is and must be optional for guests to create an account. But for further processing, it is still suitable to verify a guest’s email address without creating an account.
Is there a solution to keep creating an account optional but verifying the guest’s email address?
Hi
Only with guests. When reistring a new user on the my-account page email address verification works fine.
Hi
Your recommended solution does not solve the problem.
There is no difference if the Email sending trigger is set to “On user registration” or “On WooCommerce created customer”.
I don’t have an idea if there is a solution in general to handle guests.
Please help.
Andreas
Hi Thanks for your message. That is what I already had before. With this setting, a guest can finish his order. He did not get the confirmation documents etc. But there is no email sent out to the guest to let him know that he must verify his email address. He gets nothing, nothing. This behaviour makes no sense. Any better solution? I need one soon because we are just before launching. Thanks, Andreas
Hi
Situation 1 I was trying around but didn’t get it working. There was no verification Link sent out, and the order gets finished and confirmed without checking the email address.
But reading your explanation, situation 2 sounds more user-friendly. May I kindly ask you to guide me with 2?
Thanks,
Andreas
