In reply to: [Image Teleporter] Exclusion classesWhen using it with Zemanta, thumbnails of related posts get inserted into the post, and the same with the logo. Image teleporter simply takes them and makes local copies of them.
If I could just add the class name that should not be teleported, all this would be solvable easily.

In reply to: [WordPress Related Posts] Regarding the three Related Posts pluginsHi,
it’s a bit of a mess, they have different features and share the baseline functionality.
The first one you listed (related-posts) is the one that gets all the features, even experimental. It offers automatic related posts, manual related posts and manual in-text links. So if you want to test the most full-featured version, that’s the one to check. You should expect features that are just experimental and they sometimes break. It’s a bit of a test bed. I think we need to document that in the description more explicitly.
The stable one is WordPress Related Posts. It doesn’t have all the features, but it should be rock stable. Right now it doesn’t have manual in-text links. The middle one you mentioned is an experiment of its own – we wanted to put much more emphasis on statistics via opt-in registration and experiment with that. But didn’t really get to it yet. So we just added the stable manual related articles lately.
Thank you for asking. We have to do a better job of explaining the differences.

In reply to: WP-Plugin Exploit Scanner Broken?Hi LLP,
this (https://static.zemanta.com/readside/loade…) is just Zemanta’s read-side support which creates “hover” effect when the mouse goes over images inserted via Zemanta to display attribution. You can remove that line from your posts if you do not want that attribution. We don’t plan to develop that feature any more (and it’s disabled for all new users), so you won’t be losing any further functionality.
[repeating the same reply from the other thread, so it is documented]

I think this was just a temporary issue. However if it is still happening, can you please send us a mail via [email protected]
We would probably like to set-up a chat to figure out what your system configuration looks like and why it might not be working.

In reply to: Upgrade to 3.2.1 is crippling blogs!Ramoonus, as far as we know Zemanta is not to blame.
Hi Lesliemak,
WordPress.com has temporarily disabled Zemanta. In the mean time you can use browser extension that you can get at https://www.zemanta.com as a stop-gap measure.
You currently cannot use Zemanta with non-standard wp-content folder. Zemanta needs to have a fixed url to call for recommendations and moving it around isn’t supported currently.
Since modern browsers have support for cross-domain calls, we plan to abandon json-proxy.php in the future when some old browsers go out of use.
