In reply to: [Zotpress] In text ref and bibliographyHey
Just checked out your in-text citation – this is GOOOD!I appreciate the issue of lots of text editors – but the special thing about being able to do this kind of stuff in wordpress is that you can integrate it with semantic type writing/tagging and still keep refs etc where you want them! And all of this online! This is great for writing papers/articles etc!
All we need now is the option for various ref and bibliographic formats:)
Keep up the good work

In reply to: Dashboard buttons GONE!!OK fixed it!
It looks like it was a plugin clash.Although I couldn’t go to the plugin page via the dash button, I could via the browser address (i.e. browser history) – I deactivated all plugins and the dash is back to normal!
:))Ahh yes, I see!
ON a related issue – I’m trying to catalogue archaeological objects – most of the objects date between 20,000 and 10,000 years ago. Is there any way to create tags for numbers or dates that can then be used to sort the data, in the same way that tags for words can?
thanks
Asorry, not sure i understand. I was simply going to add custom tag taxonomies via the functions.php file – are you saying it’s better to use plugins to do this that are setup (have different taxonomies) for each site on the network? If so, which plugin would you recommend?
thanks

In reply to: [Zotpress] In text ref and bibliographyYes. This would be fantastic. I could then cut and paste post entries to create new poste entries with an autogenerated new bibliography. Cool!

In reply to: [Zotpress] Feature Suggestions for Zotpress? Is it possible to have a function where I enter a bibliographic reference (e.g. “this is what someone said (Smith 2011, 1)” and this automatically creates the bibliography pulled from my Zotero account? As is the case with Zotero in Word etc.
This would be amazing!
Cheers,
